Outside Your Head ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, individually-owned publisher of digital workbooks and guides (PDF and EPUB). This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and password you provide when you register. Passwords are stored as a salted hash — we never see or store your plain-text password.
- Order information: which products you purchased, the price paid, and the date of purchase, so we can give you access to your downloads and keep records for tax and accounting purposes.
- Payment information: we do not collect or store your card or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy — see "Payment processing" below.
- Technical information: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) used for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Email address, if you sign up for release notifications via the homepage "Notify me" form, used only to let you know when a new title is available.
- Google account information, if you choose "Continue with Google": we receive your email address and a unique Google account identifier, which we store to recognise you on your next visit. We never receive your Google password, and we do not request or access anything else in your Google account.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies: one to keep you logged in, and one to protect the site against cross-site request forgery. These are required for the shop to function and are always set.
We also offer optional analytics cookies, provided by Google Analytics, which help us see which pages people actually use so we can improve them. These are only set if you press "Accept" on the cookie notice. If you decline, or simply ignore the notice, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for outsideyourhead.com, which will bring the notice back.
Where analytics are enabled, we have configured them to anonymise IP addresses and to disable Google's advertising and personalisation signals, so the data is used only to count and understand page visits. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.
4. Payment processing
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as our merchant of record. When you check out, you interact directly with Lemon Squeezy's own systems and are subject to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy. We only receive confirmation that a payment was completed and a transaction reference — never your full payment details.
5. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account
- To process orders and provide access to the files you purchased
- To respond to support requests you send us
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
- To send release notifications, only if you asked for them
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
6. Data retention
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account at any time — see "Your rights" below.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at vildan.husomanovic@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
